The 30B DVT enclosure is a low-cost, stainless steel housing for your DVT 600 series SmartImage Sensor. It keeps out dust, dirt and idle hands, as well as providing a high degree of impact resistance.

The cable gland on the back uses a split insert to provide a watertight seal around one or more cables. The gland allows passage of the standard I/O and power cable (and the Ethernet and serial cables) without removal or disassembly of the cable connectors.

This enclosure is designed to work with "80/20" 1500 series extrusions, and includes a pair of 5/16" stainless steel fasteners for this purpose. The camera mounting design allows the SmartImage Sensor to be mounted either vertically or horizontally within the enclosure. With the cutaway side, lens adjustments can be made after the SmartImage Sensor is mounted, taking the guesswork out of focus and f-stop settings.

The 30B DVT enclosure can handle a variety of lenses. Maximum lens diameter is 2.25 inches and maximum lens length is 2.9 inches (including the
C-mount adapter, if required).

The enclosure is available with either a glass or polycarbonate viewport.
